Mandaluyong
30-Day Growth Sprint

Community-first. Data-backed. Built to grow Eco-Warriors, put BEST on the map in every barangay, and recover more recyclables.

The Thesis

We don't need to be discovered from scratch. We need to wake what we have, be seen in every barangay, and sell the diversion we already produce.

Four moves that compound: reactivate lapsed members → be seen through barangay IEC → land a sponsor / LGU city programsell the audited diversion to EPR clients.

Where We Stand · 2025

A strong base to build on.

0
Registered Eco-Warriors since 2021
0
Kg recyclables collected in 2025
0%
Delivered to recycling partners
0+
Communities reached
150+ IEC campaigns run · live EPR clients Coca-Cola, Ajinomoto, Otsuka & Shell over-performing at 154% / 138% / 100%.
The Challenge

Healthy at the top. Leaking at the core.

0
Lapsed members — no visit in 60+ days
0M
Lifetime cashback earned by lapsed members (mostly redeemed — familiarity proof)
2.5→1.5
Visits per active member / month — falling

A third of members never return after a single drop-off. The habit never formed — so the fix is retention and visibility, not just new sign-ups.

The Focus · Mandaluyong

A warm beachhead — not a cold start.

What's already true

#5 city in the program (499 active warriors) · we have an office in Mandaluyong · sister company IPM hauls the city · named a 2026 LGU expansion partner.

The opening

Only 3 of 27 barangays have working MRFs and ~15% of waste is segregated. Mandaluyong has no barangay Eco-Warrior network yet — the whitespace we fill.

The job isn't to break in. It's to make Mandaluyong know we're here and turn a beachhead into the city's materials-recovery layer.

Our Edge

We already run the model — and own the product EPR clients must buy.

7,893 micro-retailers

The sari-sari-store collection network global best-practice tries to build — we already operate it, with brand programs over-performing their targets.

Audited diversion

RTK chain-of-custody + ESG dashboard = the ECAR-ready proof an obliged enterprise needs. RA 11898 demands 60% diversion in 2026; the penalty is 2× the shortfall cost.

How Our EPR Programs Work

We don't just recover a brand's packaging. We change how a community sees waste.

For Coca-Cola's Tapon to Ipon and Ajinomoto's SariCycle, recovering their own packaging is only the compliance floor. The real work is evolving a community — educating households and micro-retailers to see value in all their waste, and changing everyday behavior so recovery becomes a habit.

For the brand

A deeper, truer ESG story than a bought plastic credit — and RA 11898 compliance that keeps performing, campaign after campaign.

For the community

Real income, dignity, and a lasting habit of seeing waste as value — across every material, long after the campaign ends.

The Engine

Community first. Funding follows.

Community
built free, instrumented
Audited diversion
RTK chain-of-custody
Sponsor / LGU / EPR
pays for the proven asset
Funds rewards
& more communities

A living community is the asset sponsors, schools and EPR buyers pay for. Build it first — free, but always instrumented — and the money finds it.

Optionality

One community, many ways to earn.

DAY 1
Recovered materials — the "waste fallout", sold to off-takers. Revenue with or without a sponsor.
NEXT
School / institution self-funding & EPR diversion credits from the audited tonnage.
LATER
Brand sponsor / CSR, LGU service fee & ESG-reporting-as-a-service, once the community is proven.

Nothing is written in stone — and that's a strength. We deploy free where there's energy, then graduate each site up the ladder.

The Plan

Six plays, in priority order.

1
Wake the sleeping cashback
Reactivate 15,251 lapsed members holding ₱3.12M.
2
Fix the frequency leak
Streaks + passbook so members keep coming back.
3
Barangay IEC — be seen
Educate every barangay that BEST exists & has an office here.
4
Sponsor-funded city program
Bring the Quezon City model to Mandaluyong.
5
Sell the audited diversion
Package & sell EPR compliance to new obliged enterprises.
6
Junior Eco-Warriors pipeline
Kids become collection champions for their households.
Stakeholder Target · Barangay IEC

Be seen in every barangay.

Continue and expand Information · Education · Communication across Mandaluyong barangays — so residents know BEST exists and has an office right here in Mandaluyong. Awareness is the top of the funnel.
